Mentor Terms & Code of Conduct

These Mentor Terms apply to professionals who offer mentorship on Praytan India. They should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Independent Professional Status

Mentors are independent professionals and are not employees or agents of Praytan India. You are responsible for the guidance you provide during sessions.

2. Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your background and expertise
• Honour confirmed session bookings and communicate changes promptly
• Offer guidance in good faith and within your area of competence

3. Code of Conduct

Mentors agree to treat learners with respect and professionalism, to avoid discrimination or harassment, and not to solicit learners off-platform in a manner that circumvents Platform policies.

4. Confidentiality

Information shared by learners during sessions should be kept confidential and used only to support the learner’s development.

5. No Guaranteed Outcomes

Mentorship is advisory. Mentors should not promise guaranteed jobs, admissions, or income outcomes.

6. Payments

Applicable fees, payouts, and timelines are communicated through the Platform. Mentors are responsible for their own taxes and statutory obligations.

7. Suspension & Termination

Praytan India may review, suspend, or remove a mentor profile in case of policy violations or credible complaints, following a fair review where reasonably possible.
